Since we only had some minor improvements in version 16.4, we summarised the release notes for this version together with version 16.5 here:
Automatic assignment: Consider applications
For the automatic assignment feature we implemented an additional setting: "Always consider applications". When this checkbox is active, all applications of employees will be handled as availability. This means, that employees can be assigned to shifts by the automatic assignment function, which are out of their availability settings.
New option for shift recurrences: "Last day of month"
With version 16.5 you are able to set the monthly interval of a recurrent shift to "Last day of month". With this option set, the shift will always be created at the last day of the month.
Disabled tour to show functions and interface elements
For newly created accounts, a tour has been triggered, which showed different functions and interface elements on different pages (for example: Absence page). We disabled this tour because we already show helpers (grey question marks & pulsating dots), which explain the most important functions and settings.
Improved English localization
For newly created accounts, some content which was directly created right after account creation hasn't been localized before this release. This has been fixed with version 16.5, which means that the content has now a proper English localization. Following content was affected by this:
- Messages in Account-Settings > Display
- Data profiles in Account-Settings
- Title of reports
Small UI/UX improvements
We implemented smaller UI/UX improvements in the whole product. The main changes were the localization of text content in English and German, the implementation of tooltips and the improvements of buttons.
Fixed a bug, which caused standard workflows not showing up for newly created locations.
Fixed a bug, which caused shift notes not being synced with the google calendar when the calendar sync for shifts has been used.
Fixed a bug, which caused some interface elements to be shown out of place in account-settings when a mobile device has been used.
