Expanded system notes of time trackings
With this release, you are now able to see changes regarding working areas and tags within time trackings. Those changes will be shown in the system notes of the corresponding time tracking just like when the start time of a time tracking has been changed for example.
Optimized a calculation option for the target hour calculation
We adjusted the calculation method for the option "Charge at least target hours on public holidays" which can be selected within an employee profile in the evaluation tab. The optimized calculation method is implemented like this: When the actual hours are less than the target hours, the balance of both values (target hours minus actual hours) is shown in column "Absent". All the other calculation will stay the same.
Improved usability in calendar
To further improve the usability we implemented following two improvements in the calendar:
- Create new employees in the employee list: Employees created that way will be shown instantly in the list without waiting on the server to confirm the creation of this employee. As long as the employee is not confirmed by the server, the background color for this employee is shown in grey.
- Improved copy/paste function for shifts: When shifts are getting copied and pasted, we only update the affected shifts and not the whole view. This results in an improved speed for this functionality.
Expanded import of public holidays
In location settings in tab absences, you are able to import public holidays for different countries and regions. This function has been expanded with the countries England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Country prefix in signup form
In the signup form, we implemented a new dropdown before the input field for the phone number. This dropdown shows the country prefix phone number automatically based on the location you are coming from. It is also possible to change the prefix manually and select a different country with the corresponding prefix phone number.
API expansion: confirm time trackings
Via the API you are able to perform different actions, for example, creating a time tracking. With this release, you are now able to perform a confirmation of an existing time tracking via the API.
Expanded place holder for workflows
Besides the already existing place holders, you are now able to use an additional placeholder: the ID. This placeholder is used in an action of a workflow to show the ID of a specific data type. For example: you can show the ID of a corresponding time tracking within a warning.
Adjustment of the account language based on the signup language
Until now the location language for new accounts was set to German and the users' language was set based on the registration language. This has been changed now: when a signup via our English website happens ((https://www.papershift.com/en), the language of the location will be set to English and the users' language will be set to "The company's locale".
Removed tab "Additional services" from location settings
Our contact information together with some other info was shown in the location settings tab "Additional services". This information is also shown when clicking on the "?" in the bottom right, therefore we removed this tab.
